What is a Haiku? According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary - a Haiku is "an unrhymed (poetic) verse form of Japanese origin having three lines containing usually five, seven, and five syllables respectively
(Most often) a poem in this form usually (has) a seasonal reference." The also don't usually have titles.
In my case - my Haiku follow the 5:7:5 pattern, but they may or may not be nature related.
In addition, I enjoy the creative aspect of putting a clever title to the poem - so I do.
